Tea Party is currently seeking a Grantwriter to develop at least three grant proposals by December 31st, 2008, as well as develop an annual grant and fundraising calendar. A candidate with successful grantwriting experience is a must. Fundraising and marketing experience, including major donor cultivation, corporate and foundation grants, individual donor gift solicitation, special events, direct mail appeals, and website, annual report and newsletter communications is a plus. Depending on budget and performance, this position may lead to a promotion as Development Director. The Grantwriter will work with the Founder, Editor-in-Chief, and board members to select appropriate grant opportunities and complete proposals on time.

This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of a nonprofit arts organization dedicated to serving underrepresented artists and writers. The Grantwriter closely monitors performance of the plan and makes adjustments to the plan as needed to ensure success in meeting grant goals.
